Where is Seagate Manager?

I have a new Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk 2 TB  USB 2.0 External Hard Drive.  There is reference to a backup program called Seagate Manager, but I cannot find it on the drive nor was I given an opportunity to install it when I attached the drive to the Windows XP system for the first time. I did view a tutorial about it, but can't find it. There are some demo programs called Memeo from Seagate Dashboard, but no Seagate Manager.  Can I download this from somewhere?  Why is it not on this hard drive?

Re: Where is Seagate Manager?

Seagate apparently have a deal with Memeo to advertise Memeo software to people that purchase Seagate drives.

So the Seagate Dashboard is just ad-ware for Memeo software.

Apparently part of the Memeo deal is that Seagate Manager no longer fully supports the larger, faster GoFlex drives:

Seagate are so far silent on this tactic, whenever it's reported.

Re: Where is Seagate Manager?

How is it possible that Seagate can only offer dead silence on this software failure?!

May I ask where this reference was found?
