no DeepStandby on OSX 10.8

Since the upgrade from OSX 10.7 to 10.8 my GoFlex Desk V2 (attached to the Seagate Thunderbolt adapter) will not able to switch into the DeepStandby after unmounting. Under 10.7 the DeepStandy was working well.  Any ideas?
