Hi Guys,
Many of you have asked for the ability to change the Netbios name, and that of other services on the GoFlex Home. This feature is not yet available through the GoFlex's web interface, so I decided to make you guys a little something.
This tool replaces the Netbios, iTunes and DLNA server names with your GoFlex Home name. This should benefit the people owning more than one GoFlex Home the most.
Please visit http://support.axentra.hipserv.com/updates/subdoma
The website does NOT have a signed ssl certificate... just ignore that error.
Note that this tool does not resolve all conflicts of having 2 GoFlex Home's on your network. We recommend making one GoFlex externally accessible and the others "LAN Only".
Enjoy,
Roby!

Is your GoFlex Home set to LAN ONLY mode right now? That would prevent it from getting updates...

Having two GoFlex Home on the network? Hmmm, I though cnaging the netbois name would mane two different devises on the network? Or am I incorrect.
I figure I could change one to GoFlex_1 and the other GoFlex_2

Well, I remaned my two 3TB drives, and all works well. NOw I can go out and purchase a third unit.
One can never have enough space.
I see the NETBIOS name was pre-conceived, "GoFLex HOme" with user ID, oh well, At least I have two drive running on the network.
Yes, remember to not have the two drive fighting over your router for ports... Only one.
