Hi,
I'm having issues with my GoFlex Home.
I have a WDTV and it was working flawlessly. I had it set as a Samba share and it was working fine but I had to reboot as it wasn't then showing after I tried to access the Videos option. When it rebooted, I tried to set up the media share option but it wouldn't accept my password. I logged onto the seagate preferences page, tried to change the Administrator password at the top and got an error stating that it was unable to change password.
Now, when I try to add a new user, I also get a message stating invalid file system or something along those lines.
I can now no longer access my NAS remotely.
When I click into My Computer, it doesn't show them as seperate drives (i.e X, Y and Z) but if I click onto the Network option below, I can see all the folders within it like Public etc.
I can access them but it doesn't share correctly. Are my drive directories corrupt? Any ideas how I can fix it?
Also, I need to be able to change the password, is there some kind of factory reset I can do?
Many thanks

Roby,
I'm going to ask a rediculous question.... ![]()
At what point do i reinsert the drive? After the 3-4 minutes? Also, do I need to uninstall the dashboard and start everything again?
Thanks!

Re-insert the drive only once the re-flash is complete, before you proceed with setup.
I don't think there's a need to re-install the dashboard, but make sure you have the latest version. If you still have dashboard issues, then contact Seagate Support.
Cheers,
Roby!
