I tried to hook up a 1TB Go Flex Home last night without success. I actually work with computers for a living and I have to say that this is the most frustrating product I have ever used. I connected power and a network cable to the base as instructed and then attached the drive. Powered on the drive and the network light flashed green and then went steady. A short time later the HD light came one solid. I then installed the software on my XP machine. The drive was detected and I was able to name it. Then I was prompted to create a user account. At this time an error was returned that the software couldn't reach the drive. I canceled and held in the reset button as instructed by the software. Powered the drive back on and tried again with the same results. Next I tried my Vista laptop and again the same results. Reset the drive once more and now neither computer can even detect drive at start up. The drive is on the network since the network light is solid green and I can see it in the DHCP table in my router.
Also the drive was supposed to include keys for 3 memeo accounts. Where I do get these? The software keeps telling me I am running a trial version
