Hi, all.
My firewall's logs are cluttered with outbound communication attempts from the GoFlex Home to IP address 64.26.187.134 port 1196. And by "cluttered," I mean that the GoFlex Home is re-attempting the connection every 1-3 seconds, gumming up my firewall's logs and making troubleshooting of other network issues more difficult - I can't find the real failures through all the noise. How do I stop this? Who is the GoFlex trying to communicate with and for what purpose? If this is merely some sort of registration or update agent, I might enable it temporarily, if only to shut it up.
For the record, we purchased the GoFlex drives for internal NAS only and have no desire for them to communicate on the Internet. Ever. As such, our security prevents the GoFlex drives (and any other overzealous applications) from exercising their own free will.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Dave
