What are the limitations on the external storage of the external storage on the GoFlex Home?

Currently I have a second GoFLex Desk connected to the GoFlex Home.

It works, but the external stoage unit, has no properties. I know its 3TB, but how full, hmmm.

Also, can I connect a USB hun to the GoFlex Home, and them two other Go Flex Desk units?

That would give me 9TB in total... just enough.

Another situation, the data available on the GoFlex Desk, connected to the GoFlex Home, is different than the spase allocated to the same hard drive when connected as a Go Flex Home.

Data I added to the 'second drive' in another GoFLex Home base unit is saved and when I put it in a GoFlex Desk, as USB, I cannot see it...

Any suggestions how I can read it?

Did you ever get an answer to your question?  I have added a second USB disk (1TB FreeAgent)  via a powered USB hub twice to my GOFLEX HOME.  The first time it seemed to work then stopped.  Might have been something to do with two drives with the same name.   So I backed off and left just one external USB (still via the hub) (a 2TB Mybook).   Recently I tried again to add a second USB drive (still via the USB hub) (3TB Freeagent) and seemed fine for over two weeks.  Could access both drives under the External Storage folder.   Now cannot get to the original 2TB Mybook.  Tried power cycle, just the Mybook, and also moved back to direct connect to PC.  Nothing sees it.  Drive seems to be comming up OK as best I can tell listening to it.  At this point I'm just trying to separate out my problems and want clarity:

Does the GO_FLEX HOME actually support multiple External Storage drives or not?  If so what are the correct procedures for adding stopping and starting them?

According to the manual you can connect a powered USB hub to connect multiple drives to the base.
