Re: GoFlex Access Android and iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch apps now available

Have had my goflex home for several months . Works great with our PCs and Sony blue ray player. Installed the android app on my Acer Iconia tablet and constantly get login errors. I have no problem logging in from my PCs. What is the trick to getting the android device connected?

Re: GoFlex Access Android and iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch apps now available

Hey guys, thanks a lot for this cool ap, but since the last update on iphone, the music is stopping (fading out) when the phone is standing-by, or when we quit the application. This is really constraining because it's impossible to listen music without continuously preventing the standing-by of the phone, or when you whant to listen music and do something else on your phone (safari, etc.) in the same time. Fix it please !

I've logged a request for this, we'll investigate if anything can be done.

Thanks,

Roby!

Our developper would like to know what model iphone you have so we can reproduce.  I think it has to do with the 4g having multitasking, etc.

Thanks,

Roby!

Re: GoFlex Access Android and iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch apps now available

Hi Roby, thanks for answering so fast.

You're right, I'm using the iPhone 4, with, I think, the last software version (4.3.3). If it can helps you, I'm pretty sure that this problem didn't exist with the previous version of the goflex app, and I haven't updated my phone in the meantime.

If you need more precision, just ask !

Thanks a lot,

Marc

Re: GoFlex Access Android and iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch apps now available

I installed the app goflexaccess on my ipad2.  And I have a FreeAgent® GoFlex™ Net Media Sharing Device.

When I start the app it want me to sign in with:

  1. GoFlex Home-namn:?
  2. Användarnamn:?
  3. Lösenord:?
What is point 1? Point 2 will be my email adress? and point 3 my login code? 1and 2 must be the same that I use to login on my pogoplug web software?
Please help what to write to log in with this app.

  1. GoFlex Home-namn:? ----- The name you gave your GoFlex home unit when you set it up.... (look in preffs under remote access in seagate share!)

Look at the bottom left side of your preffs screen and you should see ABOUT GOFLEX HOME, click on that and it will bring up your product info etc :smileywink:

PS: sorry about using caps! :smileywink:
