GoFlex Home 3TB Won't work on reboot

Running Windows 7 with my GoFlex Home and when I shutdown Windows and reboot, the device does not pop back up as it should. It doesn't show up in My Computer and under the Dashboard it says "The storage unit is not connected to the GoFlex device" when it hasn't moved.

Seagateshare.com also does not work and I am not able to access my files.

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks!

Re: GoFlex Home 3TB Won't work on reboot

Hey guys,

Can you provide additional details.  Can you ping it? Is your router even assigning an ip address to it?  If it is, what happens if you browse to that local ip?

Cheers,

Roby!

Re: GoFlex Home 3TB Won't work on reboot

My 1GB Goflex Home sometimes doesn't detect the hdd. It is not listed in the dashboard and not even accessible as /dev/sda in a SSH session (on the Goflex). In the dmesg log are no errors.

Via the dashboard and smb the GoFlex * folders hence are empty but no further errors are diplayed.

After some reboots of the Goflex the hdd is detected again and all works as before.
