I don't remember assigning a GoFlex Home Name. Now I'm trying to log in with my cell phone and tablet and can't figure that part out. The installation has been very easy other than this one part. I know my username and password. Now, how do I reset the GoFlex Home Name? Thanks so much for your help.

Hi,

I had the same issue. After spending more than 1 hour trying to find it, I called support and the answer is:

Go to your Seagate Dashboard (this is if you are using Windows, apparently this is not possible if you are using Mac)

Then go to Preferences. In there go to "Remote Access" under  Server Preferences and... voila! the GoFlex Home Name will appear.

If you are using a Mac (or if you are using a PC and don't use the seagate dashboard) then you can use the Goflex web admin pages.

Just type Goflex_Home (or your Goflex home network IP address if you know it) in a browser address bar. 

And then follow valntinmk's instructions

You don't even need to go as far as Preferences.  From any of the web interface pages, there's a "About" link at the bottom left.  Not only will your GoFlex Home name be displayed, your Product Key and firmware version are there too!
