GoFlex Home issues with USB printer

I have successfully attached and installed a printer over GoFlex Home.

 

Now there are two issues:

  1. It takes much more time to print as with a direct connection and the applications hang while printing (that's not a problem with network print servers as we have a network printer in our office)
  2. The first use of the printer after standby always fails. Before printing I have to detach the printer and reattach it.

That's not very comfortable and can not be the wanted. Is it a problem with my printer or with goflex home? If it is a bug from goflex home: will there be a fix available soon? The print server function was the reason of buying this device and not such any other NAS.

 

I'm using Windows 7 x64. Connected to GoFlex Home over 1GBit Ethernet switch. The printer attached to GoFlex Home is a HP Laserjet 1015b.

Sorted by reinstalling the printer driver. Works fine now.
