Re: Goflex Access for iPhone/iPad file format

Looks like my message isn't visible. What I am trying to say is I am using goflex access app on both my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 which are both on the latest firmware, 4.3.3. The problem I am having is while I can play video and look at pictures, I cannot get the music to play. It says that it is an unsupported file format which is a surprise as the format is AAC which is the default for Apple iTunes. It only plays MPEG files. Am I missing something? The last thing I want to do is covert 11,000 music files so I hope there is a solution.

HI m6centurion,

Can you tell us if your files are DRM protected, and what file container you used (.m4a, .m4p)?

Thanks,

Roby!

Hi Roby

The files are not DRM protected, even though I would still expect them to work. And the file container is .m4a

We've confirmed that we couldn't get the files to play and logged a bug.

Cheers,

Roby!

Re: Goflex Access for iPhone/iPad file format

I thought i'd let you know i'm having the same issue: m4p files with no protection that are giving an error message - unrecognized file format. Any update on a fix or work around for this?
