How do I administer user accounts?

I purchased the GoFlex Home services which, as I understand it, gives me unlimited accounts.  I've got 6 family members, so that was exactly what I wanted.  But for some reason my youngest daughter's account no longer seems to work.  She can't log into the GoFlex external HD at all, and I can't find a way to reset her password or anything.  How do I administer user accounts?

[ Edited ]

in a web browser on a computer that is on the same network as the Goflex home, type http://goflex_home in the browser address bar. You should get a web page with

Login to your
GoFlex Home Home Server

Enter the user name and password for an admin account. Click on Preferences and then under Administration you can create and edit accounts.

I think the standard Seagate Share only glets you create 5 user accounts. Seagate Share Pro gives you unlimited accounts

Re: How do I administer user accounts?

OK, well I'm getting strange behavior just trying to log into http://goflex_home on my PC, on my home network where my GoFlex external HD is.  When I enter the username and password I have for it and click on the "Sign in" button, all that happens is the fields for the log on form are cleared.  Nothing else happens, and more importantly, it does not go to any other page, it just sits there.

If on the other hand if I mistype my password, then it stays on the login page, but it gives me warnings that says, "No match for that username. Please verify your username and try again."

So, basically, I can't do anything at all with it.  Typing everything exactly as it should be causes it not to complain, not to warn me of anything wrong, not to tell me I've typed anything wrong, but also doesn't go anywhere else.  And mistyping my password of course doesn't work, but at least it does complain and tells me there's something wrong.  Bottom line: it's not working at all for me, and it gives me no clue at all as to what's wrong.

Re: How do I administer user accounts?

OK, I tried something different, to get around this problem.  I brought up a command window (I'm using Windows 7) and then pinged http://goflex_home.  That gave me an IP address, which I then used in my browser.  That brought up the same login page, but at least this time it actually let me get past the login screen when I entered my username and password.  Honestly, that's a real round about way to do it, and shouldn't be that way, but I finally was able to get in to where I could manage my users and change my daughter's password.

Thank you, kenji57.
