After installing the drive and software (drive connected via Seagate provided Ethernet cable to port on wireless router) I lose the internet connection about once per day. That has not occurred prior to the drive installation and also stopped occurring after removing the Ethernet connection from the drive to the router. Rebooting the router re-establishes the connection till the next time about a day later while during the interim all is fine including access via Droid phone on 3g network.
The router is a Belkin N+ Wireless model F5D8325-4 v2 and the provider owned cable modem is an Atlantic Scientific DPX2203.
What is wrong?
