I have a 1 TB Seagate GoFlex Home connected to my home network. I have been successfully using the drive and have over 200GB of data stored on it. I access the drive (using Windows Explorer) from two newtork connected laptops and a network enabled Bluray player. Suddenly, I cannot access my files on the drive from any of the connected devices. All can see the drive and the drive is mapped, however, whenever I click on Home, Personal or Backup, I get a message that all folders are empty. When I access via the Dashboard, I can see that there is 200+GB of data on the drive. When I log into the drive via my web browser, and go to Seagate Shares, I can see the majority of the files that are stored on the drive.
Anybody got any ideas how to retore access via Windows Explorer from my laptops? Both laptops are running Windows 7, but have different firewalls and settings (one is a work computer the other is personal).
Appreciate any help I can get. Very frustrating.

It sounds like your network credentials are for a different user. Each user has their own Personal and Backup folders.
Disconnect the mapped drive(s). Go to Windows credential manager and edit the credentials to the same as the user you log in as in the dashboard or the browser.
I recommend uninstalling or disabling the dashboard software. All it seems to do is complicate things and you can do everything through the web interface anyway.

I was having the same problem. When attempting to view my backed up files, it seemed that the folders were all empty, even though some of them appeared to contain data. The solution that I figured out involved NOT using Seagate Dashboard to view my backed up files. Try this: Right click on your "My Computer" icon and click Explore. Within this window, navigate to your Seagate drive, then to Seagate Dashboard, on so on until you find the place where your backups are stored, and your files should now be visible within their folders.
