My public files are no longer able to be viewed on consoles or deleted on laptop!

Really hope someone can help me.

 

I have been using my Seagate GoFlex Home to view video files on my XBox and PS3 and this was working perfectly but recently the newer files stopped displaying on my XBox and PS3 and I am unable to rename/move or delete these files on my laptop. I have tried editing permissions in windows explorer and all are showing as full permissions so I don't know why this has happened.

 

Older files are still displaying fine it is just newer ones I'm having issues with including some that were working up untill a couple days ago.

Is that in Windows Explorer? Try List view. I remember reading that thumbnails can cause problems.

 

There is most likely a problem with the files. It can cause the minidlna service on the Goflex to hang so it doesn't finish building its database.
