Playback issue

Howdy all

Just purchased my first mac. I have a goflex home set up on my PC at home. When i access Seagate share through my mac it states that i cant play back an avi file without a windows player extension. I've downloaded the suggested file numerous times and nothing has changed. Anyone any ideas?

I've been through the user manuel and ensured that the goflex home agent is installed on my mac but still nothing.

Any help is most appreciated.

Hi fledgie,

It is not a Goflex Home issue, the Goflex Home is just a Network storage device.

 

What the message means is that your mac doesn't know what program to use with avi files.
