Since I changed my ISP I have had continual problems connecting to the GFH. My new ISP's router has a different internal ip address configuration (192.168.0...) than my old one (192.168.1...).
When I restart my laptop the drives are not mapped as it says there is a bad username or password. The only thing that lets me log in is to power down the drive then restart it and the prvioulsy bad username \ paswords suddenly are ok. This happens everytime I reboot my laptop.
Any ideas?

Try deleting the old login in windows credential manager

Thanks for your reply. I hada look in Credential manager and there does not appear to be a related login for the gfh.
Cheers

How about re-mapping them manually then? if the GFH shows up in file explorer under network expand, enter your credentials and right click >map drive.
If it doesn't show under network, type \\goflex_home\ in the file explorer address bar
And disconnect the old mappings

Thanks - I tried that initially - but when I rt clicked or simply clicked on the GOFLEX_Home under network it kept on asking for a username and password - and would not accept either the GFH username\password or my actual network credential - which are definitely correct. Powering down the unit then restarting it -everything then works fine

Sorry I don't know what happened on the previous post.
Are there any ideas out there. The drives will not map at all now - always comes up with bad username and password - despite the fact that I can go in through preferences etc to see the files. This kit really is a piece of **bleep**e.

Everything else seems to be working ok. Filezilla logs in correctly and sees teh "mapped" drives although they are not visible in explorer. I can see and download files from this location using firezilla.
I can log in successfully using the dashboard then through seagate share and preferences. However if i try and change a setting of a user I get afile system error - but nothing that really explains what the problem is. Only some unhelpful link to the seagate website with no idea what to search for!!!.
Next thing I'll tr is the circular filing tool - that might solve it.

latest updates.
I can only do this so many times before I am officially declared insane for thinking a different outcome will result from performing the same steps over and over again...
Any ideas???????
It may be the Moses solution next!!!
