Hello all,
I am having some problems accessing my GoFlex Home remotely via the internet without it still accessing via Seegate's servers - which is glacially slow.
I have set up port forwarding as per all instructions, and the Seagate port forwarding test shows that all the required ports are open (even port 21 - FTP access through internet).
This has been like this for a few days now - so it can't be, either, a case of Seagate's servers not yet updating to recognise that I have portforwarding enabled now.
I have a Virgin Media Superhub, which I believe is manufactured by Netgear - but has its own bespoke GUI.
I use Macs only.
Do I also need to set up Port Triggering?
I'd appreciate ANY help - especially from Seagate Tech Support - I consider myself relatively computer savvy, and this is driving me mad...
