Remote connecting to Go Flex after router change

I've had my Go Flex for about 3 months and love it ... Last month my ISP-supplied router died and I have since replaced it. I still have LAN-side access and the drives show up on all machines I've loaded the s/w on. My problem is that I can no longer access my Go Flex remotely ... I'm sure the problem is in the router ... Just some setting I need to replicate ... Anyone know what I should do?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Re: Remote connecting to Go Flex after router change

Maybe port forwarding isn't set up? http://support.goflexhome.hipserv.com/en/router/testportforward.html

Has your router address changed? If so check in your GFH preferences >Server Preference > LAN Connection that you have updated the Gateway to your new router address. Also I had troubles and changed DNS Server 1 to my router address and it was OK afterwards, but maybe it was coincidence.

Does your new router have UPnP enabled? http://support.goflexhome.hipserv.com/en/router/index.html
