I want to reset GoFlex Home Admin password without deleting any data on the drive, as I have forgot the password . When I open Seagate Dashboard -> GoFlex Home Setup wizard, I see an user name appeared by default. I think this is the admin user name. Please confirm.
In the previous threads, in the advice to reset the admin password it was mentioned a reference to the link: http://support.goflexhome.hipserv.com/en/password/
I do not see Reset Tools on GoFlex Home Setup page, as it mentioned in the above link. And also, please confirm whether the data will be intact even after resetting the admin password.
I have attached the error message as a JPG file, for your reference.
Please help me with the way out.

I'm a newbie at this stuff, but, I can help you with the first part of your issue. Seagate's Setup page does a terrible job of communication on where that "Reset Tools" button is. From the "GoFlex Home Setup" page, select "User Guide and Tools". The "Reset Tools" selection is on the next page. I know! Couldn't they have thoguht about how to explain that better? They totally leave a step out!
Anyway, I'm trying to do the same thing you posted about. Any luck? I try the "Reset" button but all I get is a message saying I have "5 minutes to reboot the drive and THEN I'll be able to reset admin info." I get no Setup Wizard. I see you posted a couple weeks ago. Hoping you or someone succeeded at this.
