Seagate Dashboard & Memeo not see GoFlex Home drive on Vista Ultimate 64

Seagate Dashboard & Memeo not see GoFlex Home drive on Vista Ultimate 64

The installation of the Seagate Dashboard fails on Windwos Vista Ultimate 64.

After the failure a Seagate splash screen appears that hangs on "Detecting devices..."

However the dashboard & Memeo software appear to install, but if you run these neither seem to be able to see the GoFlex Home drive.

I have the firewall disabled on both the Router & Vista PC, so it is not a firewall issue.

I am able to connect to the GoFlex Home using the IP address & configure it.

But I am not able to use Memeo to back up my PC.

ANy suggestions on how I can get the Dasboard/Memeo to see my GoFlex Home Drive?

The installation of the Seagate Dashboard fails with the following:-

Re: Seagate Dashboard & Memeo not see GoFlex Home drive on Vista Ultimate 64

have the same problem and have done as you have. I did read something in the manual about have the drive hooked up directly to the computer minus thedock, seems a bit troubling to me, and have not tried it. But i access it through the browserI  like you .. just wondering what i am doing wrong, 1st of many questions
