Just bought the GoFlex 1TB drive, installed it on my 2-month old Windows 7 64-bit laptop. The one thing wrong (so far) is the drives (Public, Personal and Backup) do not show up in My Computer nor Windows Explorer.
I've rebooted, reinstalled GoFlex, etc. etc. etc., but I can see no way to drag & drop files to my GoFlex Home Drive(s). Please help.

No. You did not just do that. I spent almost two hours last night going through the manuals, and trying various things to make it work. And you insult my intelligence with a link to the very things I already spent time with. Your reply pretty much says "oh great, another dimwit who can't play with tech. I better hold his hand".
If you don't have time to listen and help the people who come here, I suggest you find another place to drink your coffee.

Have you tried going to Start -> Run and entering \\GOFLEX_HOME?
When asked for a username and password for either option enter the username and password for you GoFlex Home device.
Let me know if ither of these options work for you. You may aslo want to Turn off User Access Control in Windows to rule out a permissions issue on the Windows side.

Thanks for the reply and suggestions, SylvainB. I tried everything that was in the manuals, and no go. So before I even saw your post I'd already returned the product and purchased another. Had it all set up and running perfectly within minutes.

Good Morning I am having the same issue.
GoFlex Home 2 Gig-current firmware
Both Machines show the device on the network, neither machine will map a drive:
"Windows cannot access \\GoFlex_Home\GoFlex Home Public"
"Windows can't find \\GoFlex Home Public
I am able access the drive thru the Dashboard.
Any help would be appreciated.

I first had difficulties too. Until now I'm not able to mount/map an GFH drive with another, second Admin accout. The only thing that worked was to map the folders (only the basic folder, others don't work!) with the initial Admin account.
I've got no idea why other accounts do not work

I had the same problem and found the answer here: http://seagate.custkb.com/seagate/crm/selfservice/
The problem was happening on a Win 7 machine and a Vista machine, and having de-installed the GoFlex and my printer, and re-installed them as suggested everything works fine now.
I think its a pretty poor show from Seagate. These days a lot of printers have associated drives that assign to drive letters at the end of the alphabet. There is nothing in the installation instructions to warn you about this, and it took me three months to discover the solution.
Now, does anyone know how I can get my windows XP machine to see the GoFlex?

LOL. Just went back to the XP machine and what I had done had worked! It seems it just took some time to find the drives etc.
Printer just re-installed and everything seems fine now. Running the first backup off that machine as I type!

For me - trying to map the driver letter itself was giving error.
I uninstalled the driver (Control Panel ->Device Manager ->Disk Drives-> Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex USB Device -> (right click)->uninstall),
and re-connected the drive - and this time the driver got installed properly and it is mounted (drive - mapped) automatically.
