I have transferred files to and within Seagate with no problem. Just today I noticed an error message when trying to do so. The m essage says "You need permission to perform this action" and gives me only the option of cancelling or "trying again" which yields the same result. No prompts for a password or any other direction is given. I cannot add files to any of the Seagate drives. Any ideas? Thanks

Is this a GoFlex Home or GoFlex Net?

Hello. I am having the same issue with a GoFlex Home
I have two Go Flex Home drives on my network and I have used your utility to change the NetBios name on the second drive.
I have turned off remote networking on the second drive as well as use UPnP. I can map by NetBios name to the drive and use the original account created to map it however it seems not to be working. Thoughts?

I am having the same issue with a GoFlex Home. I did not have this problem upon installation only after rebooting. Please advise. Thanks.
