Battery life

The battery light changes to red after about hour and a half and the device dies totally after about 3 hours. Is it likely to be faulty? Thanks for any help

Re: Battery life

"is it likely to be faulty?" - best giggle I have had today! The unit is a lemon for sure, but they all are. I would consider 3 hours of battery use fairly good for this piece of junk. I have given up using it on battery as it consistently freezes. When plugged into the socket in the car or a wall outlet it seems a 'little' more reliable.

Re: Battery life

Does anyone have anything good to say about this device? I have tried to look at some of my family photos this morning and gave up as it takes 45 secods for each to load, with the device 2 feet away!!!l

Re: Battery life

Sorry to say that I have nothing positive to say about the device. My experiences with battery life seem to be about the same as yours, and that's not mentioning the other troubles I have had with the unit.

It's a good idea, that is, given the current state of Seagate's app and the drive's firmware, wholly unready for commericial release.

I wish I had not bought it.

Re: Battery life

I have decided to get what I can for it on ebay. Fed up with crashing, waiting half an hour to be able to access my files and poor battery life. Just not worth the hassle.
