From Windows USB access, I deleted a folder which I had created but it still shows up when looking at the folder view with the Seagate s/w access (browser or Android app). How do I delete it from (apparently) the database?
btw, the GoFlex works great with both my Motorola Xoom and my Kindle Fire.

I posted a question to Seagate support on this and got an answer within a couple of hours addressing (and fixing) my problem:
It sounds like the database indexing file has become corrupt. This corrupt folder will need to be deleted, but the file is hidden so we will need to show hidden files and folders for the GoFlex Satellite Drive. To do this connect the drive to your computer via the USB cable. Open Computer from the Start menu and locate the drive. It should be listed as FreeAgent GoFlex Drive. If your Windows Explorer screen shows the menus labeled File, Edit, View, Tools & Help at the top then we are in business and showing hidden files and folders will be easy. If you do have these menu simply highlight the FreeAgent GoFlex Drive and click the Tools menu and click Folder Options and click on the View tab and look for the heading called Hidden files and folders in Advanced settings:. Place the radio button in the items listed as Show hidden files and folders, and drives and click Apply and OK buttons.
Now go to the files and folders on the Satellite drive locate and delete the two folders called .GoFlexData & .GoFlexData_minidlna. You will then want to un-hide hidden files and folders, and drives by clicking the Don't show hidden files, folders, or drives and click Apply and OK.
Kudos to Seagate support for such a quick response!
