I am currently using a freeagent wireless 1TB drive. I primarily use it to store music and videos that I then stream wirelessly to my PS3 and Xbox. I also have memeo make regular backups in case of computer failure.
However, after a year of using the drive I only have 60gb of space left. After some investigation, it turns out that the accumulated back ups from the previous year are taking up over 550gb of space.
I have been looking online to try and find a way to delete all the backups but the most recent one but I cannot seem to get a consistent answer on how to do this. I have tried using the 'wipe' function on the dashboard but that doesn't accomplish anything. I have gone into the partition itself and there is a fie labelled "Do not modify" so I am not keen to change it that way. There must be a simple and effective solution so that the hard drive only holds one backup at a time and frees up some space?
Can anyone help?
Cheers.
