today, I tried to view the Folder View of my Satallite hard disk (1.3.5.015) without success using GoGlex Media app (1.3.5.202) on my iPad 2. It always returns to Local Content. It works well in the past. Can someone give me any guidance how to fix it. Thanks!

After a couple of trials, it seems the iPad and my Samsung Galaxy S2 could not get the Satallite's content list. Seagate has to fix such unreliable issues urgently to restore her credibility of hard disk no 1 position.

Has Someone resolve this issue.??
My sattelite was working until a couple of weeks ago. Now at least my computer can see the drive if its connected but when I connect via wi fi it doesn't let me see content on satellite only local content.

Try the following to see if it fixes the issue:
Please hardwire your GoFlex Satellite, then access the root level of your drive and delete the following three files (make sure your system is set to show all files and folders):
.GoFlexData
.GoFlexData_minidlna
.swap
These three files are what make up the index files of your Satellite. Now restart the unit and wait until the LED turns blue. Let me know how this works out.

I have tried that. Will try again.

So i tried a couple of times. When I try to access via wi fi. It redirects me to local content only. Should I just reformat and reload all videos again???

So I tried lastest suggestion with little success, I can only see video files from one folder but all the rest show up empty. Also, every time I connect again to sattelite, it regenerates database. It was my understanding it was a one time scan. I liked this product until the recent headaches and frustrations. There doesn't seem to be a reason for this behavior. One day it was working fine and then the next it starts having trouble.
