MP4 files

I have been converting dvds to mp4 files so that I can use the drive with my IPAD.  But when I try to store the mp4 files on the drive, it says I do not have administrator rights.  Since I am the administrator on my computers, this is somewhat confusing.  I am able to store video TS files on the drive with no problems.  I have never had this problem with any other drive.  Thank you.  I own the dvds.

  1. Did you verify that you are an administrator on the specific Windows user account you're trying to move the data from?
  2. Which firmware version is currently on the Satellite?
  3. Did you try connecting the drive to another computer to see if the same thing happens?
  4. Which operating system are you running?
  5. Does this happen with files other than .MP4s?
