Play files on the Satellite directly on my DVD player through its USB?

When I plug the Satellite in to either of my DVD players, they tell me it is an empty drive, even though there are movies on it.

The GFS is formatted NTFS, which most DVD players do not support.  I've had mine working with a Sony Blueray player that sorta supported NTFS, but would occasionally crash and need a reboot of the blueray player.

 

Another alternative would be streaming over wifi to a DLNA/UPNP compatable player.  common feature on blueray, not so much on DVD.
