I just purchased this innovative product and set it up correctly to work with my iMac and iPad 2. Unfortunately I find it is too slow and under my expectation. I installed the app on my iPad 2 and launched it. Each step takes ages to react. Below were the timings.
I like the Folder View that matches my normal working behaviour.
From Folder View to a downward folder: 28 seconds
Go back to Folder View from that downward folder: 10 seconds.
From Local Content to Folder View: 10 seconds
Go back to Local Content from Folder View: 1 second
Opened a pdf file in GoodReader and returned to Folder View - refresh view: 18 seconds.
I am expecting Seagate to look into it and provide upgrades to the app, firmware and/or driver to optimize the performance.
