best video player or browser for laptop with vista

i got this for traveling with my xoom tablet which i don't have no problem with but i'm wondering the best way to use the wifi with a laptop. i got it to work with downloading realplayer but it makes you download the movie to the laptop instead of streaming like it does with the xoom. anybody have any ideas what would work the best.

I have goflex satellite & MSI Windpad 110w (Windows 7). I use XBMC Media Center. It supports HD video and UPnP. And it shows the folder structure goflex satellite! PS: For *.mkv in the player settings should include "Allow hardware acceleration (DXVA2)" & "Adjust display refresh rate to match video"
