Anyone else experiencing this issue with 500MB device?
I cannot shut the device down...cannot reset from the back and will not shut down normally. I am at a loss here. This started to happen after I updated the firmware as directed. Yes, I did it properly, dragging downloaded file to the proper drive. I have done it numerous times. Totally confused and frustrated!!!

I just purchased the GoFlex Satellite and did the firmware upgrade. Now the device will not power off and nothing
happens when I connect the device to my Macbook Pro.
I did the firmware upgrade as stated and I could connect to the device when the firmware upgrade was finished.
After that I could not connect to the device. Both the power light and the Wifi light are on and green.
What am I to do now? I just purchased the device 3 hours ago.

This was very useful. I held the power button for 10 seconds did not power off.
So I had to wait for the battery to go dead then when I re-charged it it worked for a while.
