First of all let me say that I am not new to using disc wizard and I have cloned 2X 500GB momentu, 1X 320 GB Momentus, 1X 500GB Momentus XT. Now I'm trying to clone the internal hard drive of my MSI A6400 laptop Core i5-2410 I have my Momentus(ST9750420AS 750GB) properly enclosed in USB enclosure and recognized by Windows 7(64). I set the partitions the way I want them to be in Dusc Wizard then when it exits to reboot it analyzes the source drive but then I get an error that it cannot find a drive. Press any key to restart.
I've tried all the others out there Macrium, Disc Image, etc., etc. to no avail. I think I read that I should disable the USB card reader? How do I do that? I've never had to this with the previous drives.

Well after many, many, atttempts with all sorts of free imaging softwrare, I tried a different method. I removed the drive I wanted to clone from the laptop and inserted it into the secondary hard drive of my HP Pavillion laptop. That did the trick as Disc Wizard doesn't have to reboot since it's no longer the system drive that I'm trying to clone so the entire process runs in Windows. Replaced it in my MSI laptop and it worked! It's just as quiet and cool as the original 5400 rpm Hitachi 500 GB that it replaced.
