I have a MSS+ 500G and upgraded firmware to V2.6.2
I found the download for upgrading to CA and open and read the update process. It failed. Also the filenames are incorrect
---------excerpts
2. Click on the SetupBeta.exe file you extracted..... (The file is now called Setup.exe)
9. Select the MCAWinBeta.bin file from the.... (the bin file is now named mss_v_2_6_2.bin)
12. To setup web access and sharing open the QuickStart_Windows.pdf included in theMCAWinBeta.zip (is now called Mss2MCA_Win.zip)
---------------end excerpt
step 9, I attempted to update the bin file and it failed.. miserably. After reading many of the posts, I kinda glad. Apparently it disabled power saving etc. I restarted and reboot and everything, and it still would not update.
Now for the CA software. When attempting to set up a user account, I get a failure. I suppose it is required that the firmware upgrade works I guess. Has anyone a fix on the firmware update, or did I miss a step?
I was shooting for the web sharing for offsite backup. I appreciate any help!

I just realized that the CA upgrade is for MSSII only, NOT MSS+
