I also have the exact same problem as described above. I have been using the machine for less than 6 month.
I have another Maxtor SSD (still working) with the same adaptor/power cord. However when I connect this to the malfunctioning SSD the problem is the same: topled blinking green all the time and drive doesn't seem to boot properly. It comes into a loop of constantly restarting. I hope I can still recover my data. Any other possible solutions are welcome!
