I have read 3 different posts complaining about the same thing I am complaining about.
Mirra Service is a resource hog, although actually I think it should be better characterized as a bandwidth hog.
If I check my firewall log when Mirra Serice is running there is a continuous stream of traffic between the Mirra Server and my PC, even when no backup is necessary as there have been no changes to any monitored files.
It slows down everything, and I surmise from the total lack of replys to these other complaints that this is something we are just expected to live with.
I would be happy if you had an option to force the Mirra Service into an inactive state except for certain times, like when you are asleep. Then it can suck up all the bandwidth it wants.

Can you share with me your system specifications, such as your processor speed, RAM, etc.?
