I have been trying all night to get my Xbox 360 to see my Central Axis NAS device. I have tried reconfiguring my workgroup on my Central Axis, hoping that changing the workgroup to "WORKGROUP" would let the Xbox 360 recognize the Central Axis. This did not work.
I have seen the other article that mentions a similar problem and I have looked at the knowledge base article that uses Windows Media Center to get the Xbox to recognize the Central Axis. My problem is that I have a Mac, a Xbox 360, and a Central Axis. I do not have a Windows computer that can run Windows Media Center.
My Xbox 360 and Central Axis connect to a Lynksys WRT310N router. My Mac has no problems accessing the Central Axis. There is no firewall for the internal network. All devices run in the same subnet.
I don't understand why I can't get the Xbox 360 to see the Central Axis in my network. Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure that sharing is done through Media center on a PC. This was a common complaint before.(search the forum) I would suggest you search for a Mac equivalent. Search for: Mac Xbox 360 media share.
Rivet and connect360 are 2 programs listed.

Rivet did the trick. Rivet was surprisingly easy to get set up. Great software most definitely worth the $20.
Thank you for your help.
