I would like to upgrade my momentus XT to SD25 but...if it does not work properly, is there anyway to get back to sd24 ?

Any tools and the former firmware (in my case sd24)

I don't know if a firmware downgrade is safe to do, but here is a method to forcibly apply the SD24 update:
