Barracuda ST500DM002 internal dekstop hard disk

I recently bought the above mentioned internal dekstop hard disk.It is because Seagate Customer Service represantive told me it is 3 years while the sales person who sold me this drive told me is 3 years.I am confused here.May i know the warranty period is 2 years or 3 years from date of purchase?Please help me.
