Hi,
I have a question regarding the io scheduler i should use with the Momentus XT in my Linux partition.
Since there seem to be a very complex firmware inside the drive, is it better to let it handle all of the io like a raid controller or must i use it just like a simple hard drive.
I know that the adaptive memory is handling the read and write to the NAND but is it also doing more than that?
Also, i don't know if should post this here but i was also wondering if one accept to a NDA can he have further information about the releases notes? With all the problem revealed here it is kind of scary.
Be honest here, would you accept to update a firmware(or even a program) without knowing what it is suppose to do...
Thank you in advance,
Klok
