If you take a look around this Momentus board, it should be obvious that all the useful information that you, the users, have given is spread around pretty widely. Thus, it is really difficult to assemble the information all into one place.
To that end, we would like to ask you to place your data in this spreadsheet for more exact access by our engineers.

Please write all the information you can in the spreadsheet, and you'll notice the worksheets along the bottom, organised by type of computer.
You don't have to feel obliged to enter your email address or any other identifying information other than your forum handle (ie, AlanM).
To make this better, please post any further information here and let's make this the central repository for Momentus XT firmware-related discussion.

Removing the "/a/seagate.com/" part makes the link work. If it is necessary for that part to be there, it might be a permissions issue?

Also, please clarify that MBP is indeed "Macbook Pro". As a PC user, I have never heard of that term before.

Thanks qvazzler, I've corrected the link.
Yes, MBP should be MacBook Pro.

No problem, but you only changed the visible text and not the actual link itself. I would highly recommend fixing it once more.

I can't open it either... this "unified thread" and the spreadsheet seem to be as big of a disaster as the Momentus XT drive itself... I guess it's appropriate.

There's no need for that sort of talk here.
A thread will soon be up on solutions collected from all over the net, also Seagate will happily replace the failing Momentus XT for you.
