1tb seagate external. Says folders are empty but it's still full. I/O device error to boot.

All in the title. Around 800gig used on it, and it says it's still using this. Can open it, but then can't open any folders due to an I/O device error. Running the mouse over the folders and they say empty. It worked fine yesterday, hadn't even been moved. Running Windows 7 professional.

Read the forums and they do nothing. Changed cords, on/off, different computers, reinstalled drivers. Device Status: working properly. Nada. Tried it on a Mac and got the same thing except instead of an I/O device error, it simply said error -43.

Model: ST9500325AS, Serial: 5VE7NBMA, Firmware: 0002SDM1

I'm in trouble huh.
