I recently plugged in my one-touch Maxtor 250GB which ended up being a 232GB HD.
While that was sort of to be expected. I had another 80GB Maxtor hard drive which was plugged in at the time and ofcourse
when I formatted one drive your software appears to have formatted the other drive without warning me it was doing so
Like telling me which drive letter it was formatting which might be a good thing in the future. This is very bad!

You had two externals plugged in at once. Each will come up with their own drive letter.
Sometimes drives will not come up as the same drive letter.
That's a Windows thing....
I don't believe I have seen "format" in the Maxtor software at all
That's a Windows thing...
So you were using Windows "FORMAT", nothing by Maxtor if I am correct.
