When I backup the C drive and documnts and settings are selected, the maxtor does not show that any files are being copied. Is there something wrong with the maxtor? Solution? It always recognized and backed up previously. Need help or a new external backup drive. Thanks, JD

I would probably just drag and drop the data, or use Freebyte or something

I am having the same problem which started over 1 month ago.

It is either not backing up or backing up just a few files.

I even went in and deleted the backup folders on the maxtor drive and then tried a complete system backup.  It only back up the same few files as before even if more folders are checkmarked?

The software supplies will only backup files in MY DOCUMENTS..

It won't backup files in other users folders nor files in other folders (some folders it will)

I use different software.  Freebyte (free and easy to use) or Comodo (fancier, more options, timed backup)

Their software is very restricted....
