The SW that runs the backup on my PS110 became corrupt on my laptop. The drive is recognized and I can
access all my files but, I am not able to open the Black Armor application. I tried to delete the program and
start over but, Windows indicates the program is corrupt and will not delete it. I tried maually deleting and
was able to delete all but the <schedul2.exe> and two .dll files. Because I cannot delete those, I am not able to
reload the Black Armor software.
Any suggestions?
thanks,

has no one tried to help you...
I've had a PS110 for a few months (so far no issue)....during my free 30day tech support...I initiated two support sessions and was promised a call back each time....call backs never happened....Seagate has on shore support which has proven (to me) as bad as off shore support.
As no one has responded to your post....I must conclude Seagate talks a good game but has no follow through. I also need to know what happens if PS110 software gets corrupted... ?
Have you stopped the schedule2.exe via local services and have you disabled the three Startup apps via WinDef
Have you tried to download/install PS software from Seagate site. I think it's an available download.
Have you PM to AlanM (moderator)
Have you emailed Seagate directly? If you pay the $15...I hope Seagate Support will help you.
Regards & good luck
