Can I upgrade to the "Plus" version?

I bought a OneTouch 4 regular.  But now I realize I'd really like the features of the Plus version so I can essentially create a mirror of my hard drive and use it in case my internal drive crashes.  Can I just upgrade the software somehow, or is it a hardware feature?  Thanks.

You can buy acronis true image 11... It will copy your HD and you can use it to boot to a USB drive.
