Can OneTouch be used on Mac OS 10.3?

I recieved a OneTouch 4 Plus as a gift. As I was setting it up, it wasn't until I was trying to install the OneTouch software I realized it requires OS 10.4. My iMac is running 10.3.9.

Has anyone had success using the OneTouch on OS 10.3? Can I format the drive using Disk Utilities and manually back my drive up? Thanks.

can you explain the steps you are doing cause the kernel panic doesn't make any sense.

Re: Can OneTouch be used on Mac OS 10.3?

If I power up the drive first, when the computer is powered on, it partially boots, then the the translucent black screen shows up and demands a restart.
If I power up the computer first, as soon as the drive powers up it forces the black screen again.
I never get the chance to access the desktop or any applications.

G4 OS 10.3

Thanks,
