Diagnostic Error Code

I have a Maxtor Personal Storage 3100 (PS3100), 160GB external hard drive. I ran the diagnostic utility and received a "Fail" with diagnostic error code "D3ACA145". Does anyone know what this error code indicates?

It means the drive has failed.
If it has warranty (which I doubt), replace it.
If it doesn't, you can keep using it if you want, but make sure to keep a backup of all the data on it so that you won't go down in flames when it dies.
