1. External drive disconnecting and reconnecting itself on random intervals
2. External drive staying powered on even after computer is turned off
3. External drive not being recognized if left connected to the computer during reboot
Is this a design flaw inherent in Seagate external hard drives, or an anomaly that would be fixed by getting a replacement drive through warranty? Should I return my drive, or would I just get a different drive that still acts up the same?
Basically I just want to know if I should return my drive or not.
